Our new patient experience starts even before you walk through our doors. Once a completed New Patient Packet* is received, our friendly Smile Coordinators will reach out to schedule your first reservation with us. This document sets the tone for your first meeting with our doctors as it inquires about:

Your oral health goals
Your current dental and oral health concerns
Your previous dental experiences
Your communication preferences
Your medical history

This also guides our team on how to cater your the reservation to your unique needs.

*A completed New Patient Packet is required in order to make a reservation.

The Importance of Imaging During Your Comprehensive Evaluation

When we say comprehensive, we truly mean that. Our patients appreciate how thorough Dr. Ulep and Dr. Hernandez are when it comes to their oral health during the one-and-a-half hour evaluation. Your first experience at our office can include several forms of imaging based on your oral health conditions during the first hour. Similarly to lab tests ordered by a physician in order to evaluate your systemic health, different types of imaging are ordered to give our doctors the best information to evaluate and diagnose your oral health conditions.

3D (CBCT)

A 3D (CBCT) scan to evaluate the jaw bones for lesions at root canals and to assess bone height and width for implants. This 3D scan also helps assess nasal, sinus, and neck conditions like blockages in your arteries that require your physician's attention.

Panoramic X-Ray

A Panoramic X-Ray helps Dr. Ulep and Dr. Hernandez evaluate lesions in the jaw bone as well as bone level around your teeth for the evaluation of gum disease.

Trios 3D digital scanner

Our Trios 3D digital scanner creates a digital model of your upper and lower teeth that can be used to visualize teeth alignment with Candid or create digital smile designs for that youthful smile.

Photographs

Photographs provide great detail when comparing how your oral health status changes over time.

After a thorough review of your New Patient Packet and imaging, you will be ready to meet your doctors!

Dr. Ulep and Dr. Hernandez go through all their findings with you and work with you to develop an appropriate hygiene therapy (Smile Rejuvenation) program to maintain healthy bone and gum support for your teeth.

Based on your specific teeth findings, a comprehensive restorative (Smile Enhancement or Smile Rehabilitation) program can be created. Our patients feel well-informed of future treatments that they can prepare and plan for accordingly, especially with assistance from insurance carriers and monthly payment options available with Cherry Financing or CareCredit .
